Site Reliability Engineer

Hard Skills

Prio 1 / Must-have / Project Experience:

• 4+ years full experience Software engineering background with knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript
• Or
• 4+ years full experience Linux System Engineer with some software development skills preferably Java and/or JavaScript
  • Functional Components
  • Cloud Platform preferably Google Cloud GCP
  • Web Server Accelerator tools preferably Varnish Cache
• Git / Version Control
• Databases and application runtimes such as MySQL, MongoDB, Node.js or Tomcat
• Docker (Workflows, CLI)
• CI/CD (ideally CircleCI)

Prio 2 / Should-Have / Practical Experience:

• 1+ year TypeScript
• You have at least scripting skills and are not afraid to dive into application code written with Javascript, PHP, Typescript or Java

Prio 3 / Nice-To-Have:

• Have experience with APM tools like Elastic APM, New Relic or similar
• An agile and outcome-oriented organisation
